Math Instructor Training Workshop (August, 2021)

In August, there is a eight day long Math Instructor Training Workshop run by the Mathematics Department for all incoming graduate students and post-docs.

The first four days will be a general overview of graduate life and teaching responsibilities, and will include talks from from Davar Khoshnevisan (Mathematics Chair) and Fernando Guevara Vasquez (Director of Graduate Studies).

The last four days will be open to incoming post-docs (as well as any older students who may want a refreser) and focus on University specific resources, such as Canvas, the LGBTQ Resource Center, and the Office of Equity and Diversity.

TBA is the main lecturer, and will be joined by four experienced graduate student facilitators: TBA, TBA, TBA, and TBA.
